Dear Nicole:

Once again, thank you and that genius husband for an incredible dining experience.  Hope to see you both in the near future.

Best regards,  John Galvin

I’ve never written a “review” before but, Saturday evening’s repast demands it.

The ambiance of the Inn is simply five star, with intimate paneled rooms and fireplaces.  The staff is incredibly cordial but unobtrusive.  But it’s a restaurant, so lets get down to food and price.

The chef is an utter genius, selecting his ingredients 3 days a week via early morning sojourns to the market.  The menu – from appetizers, soups, salads and entrees – is intentionally limited so that each and every course is given personal attention.  Indeed, the sense is that the chef is preparing each course only for a single diner – you.  His creativity and artistry is evident in every course, resulting in a truly memorable culinary experience.

Now for the PRICE.  I expected prices which are 2 to 3 times higher than that charged.  Truth be told, the entire dining experience is easily worth twice the amount charged.  Each and every course – appetizer, soup, salad and entree – is, quite frankly, under-priced and simply makes an outstanding evening dinner remarkably memorable.

If one must see Paris before they die, then one must experience an evening’s dinner at the Inn.  I highly, highly recommend it.

Hello Jeanette!

I just wanted to say thank you for another wonderful ” New Year Dinner Party.”  We had a wonderful time and the food was plentiful and delicious.  Also, thanks for accommodating us and seating us in a room with a fireplace.  It made such a difference.  Looking forward to next year!

Sincerely,

Stacia Devine and Family (The Scaturro’s and the Hardy’s)

The service, ambiance, food and everything one looks for in fine dining is present at Plumbush.

I had the Atlantic salmon with whole grain mustard & maple glaze served with Eqyptian lentils and a merlot reduction.  My plate was very clean as I did not want to leave one morsel of an absolutely delicious meal.  It is not your usual salmon, but the tastiest salmon meal one could ask for.  My husband chose the roast loin of pork with gorgozola bread pudding. The piece of loin was very generous and he kept saying how absolutely perfect it was.  The meals were prepared to perfection and the presentation was just as  wonderful.

I could not resist their home made deserts and indulged in an absolutely delicious special bread pudding.

We are looking forward to being able to enjoy another meal and experience at Plumbush.   It is definitely a must go to restaurant if you want the best prepared food in the Hudson Valley.
